Junk removal prices
A single item is $125. A full 14-cubic-yard trailer is $895. In between you pay for the share of the trailer your junk fills: $225 a quarter, $375 a half, $525 for three-quarters. Every rate and every surcharge we charge is on this page.

What a load costs
We price by how much of our 7x14 trailer your load takes up. The orange is your junk; the dashed line is the top of the standard walls (about 7.3 cubic yards). Above it, the side extensions take the trailer to 14.

Notice the per-yard cost falls as the load grows. The $125 single-item price still has to cover the drive, the gate and the time, so one couch costs more per yard than a garage. If your load is just past one size, you are already paying for the next one — so fill it.
Per-item rates
Some things cost the same whether they come alone or ride on top of a load, because the cost is in the handling, not the space. These are added to the load price.

Why a fridge is $90 and a mattress is $45
Refrigerators, freezers and AC units hold refrigerant, and it has to be recovered by a certified handler before the unit can be scrapped. That is federal law. The $90 covers the recovery. A hauler who takes a fridge for nothing is either skipping the recovery or making it back somewhere else on the invoice.
Mattresses are $45 each because they are bulky and we still pay to get rid of them. California charges a recycling fee when you buy one, but that does not cover what a hauler pays to take one away.
Minimums
- Hauling: $125. One couch, one mattress, one appliance, or a small curbside pile.
- Appliances without refrigerant: Washer, dryer, range, dishwasher. First one is $125, additional are $65. Units with refrigerant are $90.
- Labor only: $95 per hour, 2-man crew. One hour minimum. For sorting, moving and staging.
- Trailer rental: $275. Drop-off, pickup, and the first ton of disposal.

What the price covers
- A fixed written price before anything moves. It changes only if the job does. If the pile grows or we find a room you did not mention, we stop and requote before we carry on.
- The lifting and loading. Full-service prices mean we load and haul. You point at it; we carry it out.
- Disposal at the gate. Tipping fees are built into the load price. The one exception is heavy debris past the first ton, listed under surcharges.
- Donation and recycling sorting. Usable furniture and appliances go to donation first. Metal, cardboard, e-waste and green waste get separated out.
- Weight tickets on request. We keep the scale ticket on every load and will hand it to you if you want proof of where your junk went.
- Free estimates. Photo estimates and on-site walkthroughs for cleanouts, hoarding jobs and trash-outs cost nothing.
What makes a job cost more
Size sets most of the price. These are the other things that move it, in rough order of how often they come up.
Weight
Concrete, dirt, roofing, tile and brick fill a trailer's legal weight long before they fill its space. Our trailer carries about 7,000 lb. So heavy debris adds $95 per ton past the first ton. Tell us it is there and we price it up front; the number does not show up after the scale.
Stairs and distance
Stairs add $25 per flight. A carry of more than 75 feet from where the trailer can park adds $45, once. Curbside and ground-floor jobs close to the driveway see neither.
Refrigerant and special items
Anything with refrigerant is $90. A piano is $400 (Upright. Grand pianos are quoted from a photo.) A gun safe is $250 (Ground floor. Stairs are quoted separately.) A hot tub is $450: Includes drain, disconnect and cut-down. $350-$750 depending on access. Those prices are about handling, not volume.
Taking things apart
If something has to be cut down or disassembled before it can go, that time is $95 per hour, 2-man crew. Sheds, built-ins and swing sets are typical examples.
Needing it today
Same-day priority is $75. Quoted before you commit, never added after.
The pile growing
If the job turns out bigger than the photos, we stop and requote before we load the extra. Nothing gets added silently.

These are not volume jobs. They get walked, scoped and given one fixed price. These ranges are from this market, not national averages.

Pricing questions
Why do you publish prices when nobody else does?
Because the alternative is worse for both of us. Hiding the price means every lead becomes a phone negotiation and every customer arrives suspicious. Publishing it means the people who call have already decided the number works, and we spend the call scheduling instead of haggling.
Is the price you quote the price I pay?
Yes, unless the job changes. If you add to the pile, or we find a second room you did not mention, we stop and requote before we continue — we do not add it silently and hand you a bigger invoice.
How do you price by volume?
By how much of the trailer your load fills. Our 7x14 trailer holds about 14 cubic yards with the side extensions in, which is more than a national-brand "full truck" at roughly 12. A half load is half the trailer.
What about heavy material?
Concrete, dirt, roofing, tile and brick weigh out long before they cube out, so they are priced by weight: $95 per ton past the first ton. We tell you before you book, not after we weigh.
What is the smallest job you will take?
One item. The single item / minimum load is $125 and covers one couch, one mattress, one appliance, or a small curbside pile. Labor-only work without a haul-away is $95 per hour, 2-man crew, one hour minimum.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Photo estimates are free and usually come back within the hour. On-site walkthroughs for estate cleanouts, hoarding jobs and trash-outs are also free.
Can a business be invoiced?
Yes. We invoice to the entity, net-15 after the first job, and the invoice references the property address.
