Our black dump trailer loaded with bins, boards and household junk beside an overgrown lot
Mid-job: the trailer loaded beside an overgrown lot.

What we take

  • Hot tubs and spas of any size
  • Swim spas
  • Above-ground pools
  • Surrounding decking if you want it gone
  • Pumps, heaters and equipment

What we can't

  • In-ground pool demolition — that is an excavation job, we will refer you

Nobody legitimate takes household hazardous waste on a junk run — it has to go through a county HHW event. We separate it out, stack it where you can find it, and tell you the nearest drop-off date instead of quietly leaving it in a corner.

What hot tub removal cost

Most junk removal companies in this market will not put a price on their website. We will. You get the exact number in writing before anyone touches anything, and it does not move unless the pile does.

How it works

  1. 1

Photo of the tub and the access

The access is what sets the price, not the tub.

  2. 2

    Drain and disconnect

We handle the electrical disconnect at the breaker and the spa pack. If it is hardwired we shut it down safely.

  3. 3

    Cut and carry

Sawzall into sections that fit through your gate or side yard. No crane, no fence removal.

  4. 4

    Site left clean

Pad swept, screws and debris picked up.

Questions people actually ask

How much to remove a hot tub?

$350 to $750. The number depends almost entirely on access — a tub on a patio with a wide gate is at the bottom of that range, a tub on a second-story deck or behind a fence with no gate is at the top.

Do I need an electrician?

Usually not. We disconnect at the spa pack and shut the breaker. If your setup needs a permit-level disconnect we will tell you before we start rather than in the middle.

Do you have to cut it up?

Almost always, and that is the point — cutting it into sections is what lets us take it out through a normal gate instead of pulling your fence apart or renting a crane.

How long does it take?

Two to four hours. Most are done in an afternoon.
