Rent heavy-duty plastic moving totes instead of buying cardboard boxes. Three packages from 30 to 65 totes, delivered and picked up, with room labels and dollies included. From $129 for 7 days, and we haul away what is not making the move.
Our rig
One standard on every job.
Every job runs under the Summit name, whoever is on the crew: the written price you were quoted, loads to permitted facilities only, and a broom-swept finish. There is no franchise office in between.
- Up to 14 cubic yards a load with the side extensions up, more than a national brand’s “full truck.”
- Weight ticket on every load. Everything goes to a permitted facility, and the ticket is yours if you want it.
- Donation and recycling first. Usable furniture gets donated; metal, cardboard, e-waste and green waste are separated out.
- Seven days a week, Sunday included.

Questions people actually ask
How much does junk removal cost?
We price by volume — how much of the trailer your load fills. A single-item pickup starts at $200, which is also our job minimum. A quarter load is about $275, a half load about $425, and a fully loaded trailer with side extensions runs $775. You get the number before we start, and it does not change unless you add to the pile.
Do I have to be home?
No. A lot of our jobs are for people who live out of the area. We can work from a lockbox or a neighbor, send before-and-after photos, and take payment remotely.
Can you come today?
Often yes. We hold same-day slots most weeks. Same-day carries a $75 priority fee — we will tell you that before you commit, not after.
Do you take mattresses and refrigerators?
Yes to both. Refrigerators and freezers carry a $90 freon-handling fee because the refrigerant has to be recovered by a certified handler. Mattresses are $45 each.
What happens to my stuff?
Anything usable goes to donation. Metal, cardboard, e-waste and green waste get diverted. The rest goes to a permitted landfill — we keep the weight tickets and will show them to you if you want them.
What won’t you take?
We can’t haul paint, solvents, motor oil and household hazardous waste; asbestos and anything containing it; medical or biohazard waste; ammunition and explosives; fuel, propane tanks and batteries (we can advise on disposal). Nobody legitimate takes household hazardous waste on a junk run. Every county we serve runs free household hazardous waste drop-off for residents, and we will point you to the nearest one.
How much does a dump trailer rental cost?
$275 for a one-day drop-and-pickup including the first ton of disposal. Additional tons are $125. Extra days are $65. A full seven-day week is $575 plus disposal. Everything is quoted before delivery.
