Nobody legitimate takes household hazardous waste on a junk run — it has to go through a county HHW event. We separate it out, stack it where you can find it, and tell you the nearest drop-off date instead of quietly leaving it in a corner.
What appliance removal cost
Most junk removal companies in this market will not put a price on their website. We will. You get the exact number in writing before anyone touches anything, and it does not move unless the pile does.

Tell us what and where
Kitchen, garage, basement. If it needs disconnecting, say so.

Flat price
$125 for the first appliance, $65 for each additional one on the same trip. Freon units add $90.

We disconnect and remove
Water lines, gas shutoff at the valve, dryer vents. We leave it capped and safe.

Recycled, not dumped
Metal to the scrap yard, refrigerant recovered by a certified handler. Ticket on request.
Questions people actually ask
Why is there a charge for refrigerators?
Refrigerant has to be recovered by a certified technician before the unit can be scrapped — that is federal law, not a made-up fee. $90 covers it. Anyone quoting you $0 on a fridge is either not recovering the refrigerant or making it up elsewhere.
Can you disconnect it?
Yes — water lines, dryer vents, and gas at the existing shutoff valve. We do not cut or cap gas lines; that is a plumber's job and we will say so.
Do you buy working appliances?
No, but if it works we will try to place it with a donation partner instead of scrapping it, which sometimes reduces your price.
What about a water heater?
$125, and we will shut off the water and gas at the valves. If it needs to be drained first, tell us and we will bring time for it.
